Year Completed: 2020

The project brief for this home was to build an architectural designed home for the families current and future needs utilising the latest design principles and building techniques. Every space in this home is generous in size, light filled with deep connection with natural materials used inside and outside of the home. A rich combination of features including timber, recycled brick and steel help this space to bleed with character while attributing to the homes quality finish and feel.

Polished exposed aggregate concrete floor combined with specifically located large black frames double-glazed windows allow the home to take full advantage of its northerly aspect. Minimal Glazing to the east and west combine with a 9.765kW solar panel system with a 6.3kWh battery bank gaining a 6-star energy efficiency rating. Inclusions of the recycled red brickwork pays homage to the suburb’s age with dark metal elements which propel this home into the modern era of design and building. The front façade of this beautiful home demands your attention with bold form and colours.
