After completing his carpentry qualification, Dean cut into subcontracting with a range of building companies to gain valuable exposure and experience which lead to his completion of his Builders Licence (Diploma in Building) for ACT and NSW. Dean founded 360 Building Solutions to pursue his passion for quality and sustainable, environmentally friendly homes. As a 360 Director, Dean bridges the on-site management with the company office to ensure communication and quality hit the mark for all projects. Dean loves to lead from the front at work while valuing quality time with his wife, Laura, and two boys in the great outdoors.
William Duncan
Managing Director
Will has building in his blood as son of Trevor Duncan of Duncan Homes operating in the Canberra region for over 30 years. We attribute Will’s commitment to innovation and its impact on the environment to the combined affect of experience handed down from his father along with his trade qualification in carpentry (Cert III) and building (Cert IV). We love Will’s passion for action as a Director of the company. Outside of work you will catch Will spending time with his wife Cass and three kids and working on one of his next great ideas.
Kirk Thompson
Site Supervisor
Kirk is our ultra tradesman and gentle giant. Initially completing his apprenticeship as a mechanic, Kirk retrained to ensure a quality build for his own dream home which he achieved in 2016. Kirk completed his trade qualifications in carpentry (Cert III) and building (Cert IV) with 360 Building Solutions. His ability to run all 360 Building Solutions projects effectively from start to finish is key to our success. Kirk’s knowledge and skill set for all things building is second to none. Outside of work Kirk enjoys cold showers and spending time with his wife, Georgina and two boys living an active life.
Charlie Prowse
Operations Manager
Charlie, sometimes known as Charles or Chuck combines his recent post graduate Project Management qualification with his carpentry and building qualifications. He brings an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to the team. His dissatisfaction with standard approaches grows from his broad experience that started with his apprentice work with 360 Building Solutions; construction industry experience in Scotland as well as; Byron Bay and construction trades teaching in New Zealand. When not thinking about a more sustainable world, Charlie can be found being as active as possible, bringing people together and drinking coffee.
Mel Mohr
Accounts Manager
As our numbers guru, Mel manages and builds our business accounts also providing a some balance in the gender stakes for the company. Outside of 360 Building Solutions, Mel is a mother of three girls and is passionate about raising kind, self-aware girls while being the best mum she can. You might catch Mel out and about on weekend adventures with the girls.
Ricky Shaw
Lead Carpenter
After completed his Certificate III in carpentry in 2013 Ricky hasn’t looked back. His attention to quality, consistent approach to building and his ability to run a team has brought him quickly to the leading hand carpenter role within the company. We know Ricky as an assets to our team and if you meet him on-site you will see how he is an asset to your project. Ricky sets the standard on-site for all trades and is integral to 360 Building Solutions continued success. When Ricky’s not on-site his enjoying life with his partner and supporting the mighty Tigers (NRL) in his recently completed self- built new home in Googong.
Lachlan Hall
Lead Carpenter
Lach brings the precision of his joinery background to the building process from start to finish. He completed his Carpentry qualification (Cert III) in 2014. Lach’s keen interest in the building process, unmatched eye for detail and strong work ethic generates quality work, time and time again. A quiet achiever that gets the job done. Outside of work you’ll catch Lach motorbike riding and hanging out with his partner in his recently purchased home in Karabar.
Brendan Blakers
Carpenter
Brendan has wanted to be a builder since the beginning. Gaining his carpentry qualification at the age of 20, Brendan hit the ground running. A recent inclusion to 360 proving maturity and ability beyond his age and experience. Hard working with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and a proactive response to problem solving. We are excited to have Brendan on board and look forward to seeing the impact this guy will have on the industry.
