Our new house build with 360 Building Solutions exceeded our every expectation. The build quality is outstanding, with even little details well thought through and beautifully executed. The hidden details that make a sustainable house – like wrapping, insulation and door seals – are testament to their commitment to quality. They went above and beyond to ensure that the end result delivered was not just a house, but a beautiful, comfortable and unique home.
From the start, Will and Dean were amazing, helping us work through our ideas for a unique and sustainable house. Alternative materials like rammed earth and recycled timber didn’t phase them, allowing us to create the home we wanted. They communicated throughout the process, involving us in everything from staircase and balustrade design to the plastering details, making sure that the end product was exactly was we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble for Will and we can’t recommend 360 Building Solutions highly enough.
I would not hesitate to recommend 360 Building Solution to those looking for an outstanding building experience. I have been working with the team at 360 for more than 6 years now, and since the first project we completed together, I have continued to be impressed with their professionalism, their enthusiasm and, most importantly, their desire to build only to the highest standard.
In addition to the numerous projects I have worked with 360 to complete in my role as Architect, I have recently had the pleasure of them building my own new home. Both my husband and myself would happily attest to their easy communication and up front nature, which was truly appreciated when considering all of the different aspects of building our family home. There were no hidden costs, and the overall experience of building our house with them was outstanding.
The true measure of their quality and success is the happiness that their clients readily communicate on moving into their new space, and myself and my family are no exception.
Our project was a knock down rebuild. Having a building construction background myself we had a very clear vision of what we wanted and we are very happy with what has been achieve, Dean from 360 Building Solutions was great to work with, he was attentive and always strived to exceed our expectations.
The whole process was a great success – the house is bright and light and it’s a fun space to live in and most significantly our energy costs are almost zero. (About $50p.a. we have a 1.5kW PV system)The project was completed on time and on budget. Our house was featured in Sustainable House Day and received much acclaim.
360 Building Solutions and the Mill Design worked together to build us a spacious, environmentally friendly home with a small footprint. The builders worked hard to give us the home we wanted and kept within our budget. We now live in a spacious home filled with light which is warm in winter and cool in summer. Our friends are all impressed by our new home – it is a space which welcomes you in! Thank you to all involved.
We are so happy with our amazing sustainable home. We sought out architects and builders that share the same values that we have of sustainability and liveability. Our journey from design, through construction, to completion was very rewarding with Lighthouse Architects and 360 Building. We have a home that's designed and constructed for our site, for our family and is future proofed for a changing climate. It is spacious and light filled. We were very comfortable through summer, using only ceiling fans and night time passive ventilation to cool the house. Good orientation, design, insulation and glazing have made a huge difference compared to our old ex-govie house. We are looking forward to a sun filled warm house this winter. Thank you very much.
The brief we gave 360 was for a solar passive, cost-effective and compact family home that would suit our changing needs over the next few decades. We moved in during December and the house stayed cool during the Jan/Feb heatwaves with just ceiling fans and no aircon. We expect it will perform equally well during the long Canberra winter. We chose small kid bedrooms to save cost and reduce their mess footprint. The eldest has her own flat that the others will use as they reach uni age and want independence. There is no garage – just a simple carport that will double as a second outdoor entertaining space. Savings went towards good size living spaces and finishes eg timber reveals, plywood ceilings and joinery. We love the reclaimed timber pergola (a 360 special). The house is really interesting and light filled with 3 north facing courtyards. Dean & the crew were a pleasure to work with and we are incredibly happy with the result.
